Denizüzümü

Denizüzümü (ephedra campylopoda) : Yurdumuzun hemen hemen her yerinde yetişen her zaman yeşil, uzun ömürlü, çalı görünümünde bir bitkidir. Gövdesi incedir. Yaprakları, gövde üzerine karşılıklı, çapraz şekilde dizilmiştir. İçeriğinde “efedrin alkoloid” bulunur. 35 kadar türü vardır.

Faydası : Astım hastalığının şikayetlerini giderir. Terletir. Ateş düşürür. Romatizma ağrılarını dindirir.
