Ebücehil karpuzu (acıhıyar) : Kabakgillerden elma iriliğinde meyvesi çok acı ve ishal yapıcı bir bitkidir. İçeriğinde “colocynthine” vardır. Zehirlidir ve 2 gramdan fazlası öldürebilir. Haricen kullanılır.

Faydası : Romatizma, mafsal ve nikris ağrılarını dindirir. Kaşıntıları geçirir.
