Kasıkotu (fıtıkotu) : Karanfilgiller familyasından; Avrupa’da, Asya’da ve yurdumuzda yetişen, toprak yüzeyinde yatık olarak gelişen bir veya çok yıllık bitkilerdir. Yaprakları küçüktür ve kümeler halindedir. Hekimlikte; toprağın üstünde kalan kısımları kullanılır.

Faydası : Böbrek ve mesane hastalıklarını giderir. Fıtıkta faydalıdır. İdrar söktürür. Vücuda rahatlık verir. Kasık şişmelerini indirir. Bademcik iltihap ve şişmelerini tedavi eder.
