Yüzde serbest PSA prostat kanseri riski ile ters orantılıdır. Artmış total PSA ve düşük (% serbest PSA) prostat kanseri bulunma olasılığının artmış olduğunu gösterir. Tersine düşük total PSA
seviyeleri ve artmış % serbest PSA seviyeleri prostat kanseri bulunma olasılığının düşük olduğunu gösterir.
