Sütotu (polygala) : Sütotugiller familyasından; bir veya çok yıllık, odusu veya otsu bir bitkidir. Çiçekleri kırmızı, beyaz veya mavidir. Yurdumuzda polygala supina ve polygala anatolica denilen türleri vardır. Kökü kullanılır. Kokusu bulantı vericidir.
Faydası : Bronşitte faydalıdır. Balgam söktürür. Göğsü yumuşatır. İdrarı çoğaltır. Anne sütünü çoğaltır. Yüksek dozda kullanılacak olursa kusturur.
