Kistik fibrozis tanısında kullanılır. Hasta infantlarda 3-5 hafta sonra pozitifleşir.

Referans değerler

0-60 mmol/L NaCl

-Malabsorbsiyon,

-Hipotiroidizm,

-Adrenal yetmezlik,

-Pankreas yetmezliği,

-Renal hastalıklar.
