Aminolevülinik Asit (Delta-ALA) (İdrar)

Klinik kullanımı :

Çeşitli porfiriaların tanı ve tedavisinin takibinde kullanılır. Çocuklarda

kurşun zehirlenmesinin göstergesidir. Özellikle akut atak sırasında

alınacak bir örnekte (spot veya 24 saatlik idrar) ALA, porfobilinojen

ve idrar porfirinlerinin tespiti porfiri tanısını koyduracak veya

dışlayacaktır.

Örnek toplama özellikleri

İdrar asetik asit üzerine toplanarak gönderilmelidir. 10 mL 6 N HCl

üzerine toplanan idrar da gönderilebilir. İdrar karanlık ve soğuk

ortamda toplanmalı ve ışıktan korunmalıdır. 24 saatlik idrar miktarı

belirtilmelidir.

Referans değerler

Spot: < 3,8 μmol/mmol kreatinin

24 saatlik idrar: 1,5-7,5 mg/24 saat veya

11-57 μmol/24 saat

Olası kritik değerler

> 20 mg/24 saat

-ALA dehidrogenaz eksikliğine bağlı porfiria,

-Akut intermittant porfiria,

-Herediter koproporfiria,

-Variegate porfiria,

-Kurşun zehirlenmesi,

-Herediter tirozinemi,

-Diabetik ketoasidoz,

-Alkolizm ve alkol nedenli hepatit,

-Gebelik,

-Bazı antikonvülsan ilaçlar.
